Mock Recall Readiness Checklist
Test whether your farm can complete a traceability recall in under 30 minutes — before auditors or buyers do.
Before the exercise
- Assign compliance lead and timekeeper
- Select random harvest log ID or export batch (unannounced)
- Spray, harvest, packhouse, export, and QR records in one system
During the exercise
- Backward trace: greenhouse, variety, harvest date, picker, spray history, PHI
- Forward trace: packhouse, cold room, export destination, buyer, QR token
- Evidence check: spray log, harvest log, cold-chain, export, certifications
- Export audit pack (CSV/PDF) for the batch
- Record end time — target under 30 minutes
After the exercise
- List missing or inconsistent records
- Assign corrective actions with owners and deadlines
- Schedule next mock recall within 12 months
